Meridian Care is San Antonio’s premier nursing facility for Ventilator Care and Pulmonary Rehabilitation. Our services include Tracheostomy care, Ventilator support, respiratory treatments (including C-PAP and Bi-PAP), and many other services. Our unit is staffed with licensed respiratory therapists, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We work with specially trained physicians, pulmonologist, nurses and technologists to ensure the finest quality care for our ventilator-dependent residents.

We focus on weaning our residents away from ventilators when medically possible while always ensuring that we work toward the goals set by you, your loved-one and the medical staff. Each of our ventilators is portable, making it easy to attach to a wheelchair for our residents that are mobile. This provides your loved-one with the ability to participate in activities throughout the facility without compromising any level of care. Additionally, our facility's independent, emergency power generator ensures uninterrupted power to all ventilators during any type of power outage.
